Hi- I haven't wrapped up Halloween to get me caught up to Thanksgiving. The other night (beginning of November) I saw these pumpkins on a door stop. Definitely tells the story that Halloween is done for this year.

Boo!

Memorial Park is a nice place to reflect...

Posted by Picasa

Hi- For Veteran's Day, I wanted to share Memorial Park in Beaverton, Ore. This time of year the fall foliage from the trees blanket this park. There are quiet places to reflect, artillery to view, and remembrances to the veteran's that have gone before us. Memorial Park is a tribute to all branches of the military.

The Beaverton American Legion Post #124 host two events for Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. The Memorial Park is located on Watson Street, Beaverton, Ore.

Have a good Veteran's Day,

Craig.

These mediums were fun to paint with...

Hi- When my daughter and I attended Newt Day at the Nature Park we had fun painting. In these paintings, I had the experience of using items that would be found in nature. The mediums used were dirt, clay, charcoal, sticks, bark, and leaves. This was a lot of fun to use these mediums of nature.

Newt Day at Nature Park.

Hi- In the past I have written about the wonderful programs and activities at the Tualatin Hills Park Interperative Center, Beaverton, Ore. Today was no exception with Newt Day. The public was invited to experience nature in autumn with exhibits, crafts, live newts, and more activities for the family.

If you missed this day, be sure to catch it next year. The web site for these scheduled activities and more during the year is http://www.thprd.org/.

Halloween school exhibits are fun to look at...

Hi- Here are some school photos of Halloween exhibits that some kids made. I hope that you enjoy the exhibits as much as I did.

Happy Halloween to Friends and Family...

Hi- This greeting could be like one of those Belated Birthday Day cards that one could get in the mail. I would like to extend a Happy Halloween to my friends and family. Hope that you are having a safe and fun Halloween.
Craig.
